my daughter is not speaking she is 3+ now. she plays but not mixing with others children. aur sir wo raat ko soti nahi hai. din me soti hai. plz suggest ki abhi tak kyo nhi bolti. or thoda bahut hi hai uska bolna kbhi kbhi jb uska man hota hai.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. proper language / speech development will start between 18 months of age to 3 years of age.
there is no need to worry before that just concentrate on the diet and regular interaction with the child.
also speech and language develops properly with more people available to interact with the child
avoid usage of tv mobile and laptop because they are the most common reasons for delayed speech and language development.
the most important thing is that before speech, understanding of the commands given by tyhe parents should be present.
by 18 months if the child is not following basic commands then only you have to meet the doctor for speech and development assessment.
requirement of speech therapy will also be discussed by your doctor.

break the words and sentences and let the baby repeat after you
let the baby mingle same age groups
