Q.
my daughter is not latching properly.. now 53 days old her weight is 3.5 kg( birth at 2.850kg). pls suggest a solution..

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist2 years agoA. Hello mom check for the milk flow and also the nipple size as well , consult your gynaecologist for it as only after physically examining it , it would be ideal to do that. You can also try to pump your milk and feed him

Squeeze your nipple frequently
Try to keep head up position
The more relaxed you are while breastfeeding the better your milk will flow
Make sure your chair or bed is comfortable and try to remove any distractions
Have a glass of water on hand for yourself too
