My daughter is not able to suck mothers milk, she is 22 days old. So My wife take out her 30ml milk in bottle and 45-60 ml we give formula milk. Is it safe for her? what should be the frequency to feed her?

A. You can feed once in every two hours. There should be a minimum of half an hour gap between Breastmilk and formula. Don't feed them immediately one after another. It can upset the baby's tummy. Your baby should be peeing anywhere between six to ten times a day which means the baby is taking feeds properly. Also there should be a gradual weight gain. Keep a check on these factors.
