Q.
my daughter is just 2 month old she has a cough due to that some time she faces a breathtaking problem. she was admitted in hospital 3 to 4 days by pediatrician . they nebulized him 4 to 5 time in a day with it also gives some medicine to her but she doesn't get relief from her coughing. she also have chest infection. please direct me in right solution of my daughter problem

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. any cough most of the time either it could be allergic or infective which needs proper evaluation. initially you can start by giving steam inhalation to your baby which will help in relieving symptoms to some extent and will make the baby comfortable.for small baby should be given indirectly from a distance.cough suppressants are usually avoided in children,it needs to be examined first before giving any k na xind of medicine. so it will be better if you consult your doctor for proper guidance along with proper dosage for the kind of problem.
