Q.
my daughter is having severe cold and cough with 100 fever using the medicine given by local doc. it's 4 days still she is not recovered yet. any remedies in home need to follow sir? kindly advise

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. whenever there is prolonged cold and cough not improving it can be due to either infection or allergy. also when oral medicines are not working you may have to go for nebulization and the next best option would be inhaler with the help of a spacer. it is axlso important to take care of that and not give any sugary diet as well as all the food which might be causing increase in cold and cough. avoid outside eatables as well as packet foods like biscuits cxhocolates ice cream. try to prevent temperature variations which might trigger cold and cough again and again
