Q.

my daughter is having diahrria and she is popping out 15-20 times a day in liquid form. I have consulted a dr. in my city and he has prescribed some zinc drops and ors for 14 days. i am not able to understand what exactly the problem is.please advice

A. hello...you are breastfeeding the baby...please eat only very mild and easily digestible food only no spices no mango no too oily food... drink ajwain water all day day ...There are certain foods which should be avoided in breastfeeding...also as coffee and tea contain caffeine have only one or ywo cups max....also avoid chocolate spices (cinnamon, curry, chili pepper) citrus fruits and their juices, like oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruit strawberries kiwifruit pineapple the "gassy" veggies (onion, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, cucumbers, and peppers) fruits with a laxative effect, such as cherries and prunes...a daily cup or two of coffee is fine, but too much caffeine can interfere with your baby's sleep or make him fussy
