my daughter is having cold n cough frm yestrdy n when she slps at night I cn hear the sound of cough it's got congestion n due to that she is nt able to slp n she has got khasi also today Pl suggest sm medicn I hv tried all the home remedies also

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations .
For cold you can give drops wikoryl AF 0.5 ml to the child 2-3 times per day.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful.

Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combinxation (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give warm water to drink
If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
paracetamol for fever and pain.
