#asktheexperts my daughter is having adenoids, Age 10 years , Till now the cough and cold are under control with medicines and still doctor is doing same , it’s also possible now to do surgery if doctor suggested or wud it be benefit as child is on long term treatment and now facing recurrent infections and gut health is also suffered. Please advise what should do in this case . Nasal spray is proscribed for her to take so it’s giving

Adenoids is a grade or the problem is on the higher side like stage four or something then yes the doctor he advised you to go for surgery and practically it is good to get a surgery done because after that you will see a proper difference in the growth that is now or after doing the surgery which is practically very safe to be done
