A. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold . here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever . it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely. dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer. allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ coldd water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweet food also. body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.

A. Start nebulising your child two or three times in the day with regular saline water don’t you eat medication that is going to help in melting down the congestion slowly on a permanent level further more if your child is one year plus you should go ahead with giving ginger juice and honey mixture three times in the day without any water for at least half an hour to 40 minutes
