My daughter is having 101 fever plz suggest

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 14 months old and she is having a fever upto 101 degrees so give her plenty of water and frequent breast feeding and paracetamol syrup 15 mg/kg at every 6/8 hours

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenfamic acid prbeparations.
cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
