Mom of a 7 yr 9 m old girl7 years ago
Q.

my daughter is above 9 months. she still says aaa only. sometimes she says ma ma ba ba but the very other day she forgets it. she first spoke pa pa when she was 6 months but seems to have forgotten that completely. she got her teeth very late in 8 months snd now has 6 teeth. she is very active baby otherwise. she could stand with support from 7 months onwards. she even takes 3-4 steps independently, but has not been able to walk. she never plays with her toys just scatters them or puts it in her mouth. I am a bit worried about her. I am currently living with my parents but in 2 months i need to shift with my hubby and need to join office. i am totally worried about leaving her with househelp when she cannot even talk or walk. please suggest and help

A. Hearing and speech, at 1 month, the baby turns head towards sounds of rattle, by 6 months produces monosyllable sounds like ma, ba and around 9 months bisyllables like mama, baba. Around 10 months understand spoken speech or sound. Usually by the age of 1 year, child can use two words. Vocabulary increases during second year. Between the age of two years , make simple sentence using two to three words. Gradually their vocabulary increases when they turn 3 years.

A. He rather suggest that you should make sure that the help you are taking is someone whom you can trust for your baby the other thing is that you can also place camera and the third thing is that you also need to make sure that you keep on talking to you baby more and more there is no issues with the talking ability of the baby some babies are speak only few monosyllables
