my daughter is 9 years and 10 month old and today she got her first period. Is it normal to have period at this age. Also I want to know that is having periods stop her height to grow?

Madam it is still little early for the child to reach the period though the kids are getting periods at the age of nine these days but it is very early the age is somewhere between 12 to 15 so as of now I’m just going to advise you to take an assistance with your doctor and put your child into good physical sports and activity because it is true after attaining the puberty the height slows down it increases till the age of 18 but thespeed is little less as expected as it is meant to be before puberty
