Q.

my daughter is 7 months old with weight 8 kg. she is prescibed tonoferon drops 1 ml(25 mg), vit d 800 iu per day and visynerial multivitamin drops( which also contain 400 iu/ ml of vit d) at 1 ml per day. I fear the dose of iron and vit d( a total of 1200 iu per day) is more than what is usually prescibed at her age and wt. kindly help

A. The dose is fine so don’t worry and usually iron and calcium are given till one year of age so nothing to worry and give solid foods and seasonal fruits to the baby
