Q.

#My daughter is 7 months old. Recently I gave her pappaya....two days in a row since she was constipated. Her constipation is fine, but she has some red/orange big sized undigested food in her poop. What is it? Is it something to worry?

A. hi your baby is 7 months old now fruits especially papaya won't cause constipation.sometimes undigested food can pass on in the poop.you need to give plenty of fluids including milk and warm massage to belly and make cycling movements of both legs to help stool passage

A. Occasionally, you may see undigested food fragments in stool. This usually is high-fiber vegetable matter, which normally isn't broken down and absorbed in your digestive tract. Undigested food in stool isn't a problem unless it's accompanied by persistent diarrhea, weight loss or other changes in your bowel habits. The good news is, most undigested food in stool causes are nothing to worry about.
