Q.

My daughter is 6 years old...She is suffering same thing from last 3-4 months... Throat redness, throat infection,ulsers looks in throat and mild fever..and everytime it's recovered only with antibiotics.I don't want to give her antibiotics so frequently..Could you plz help what's the reason,what should I do?

A. For throat infections, paracetamol can be given for pain and fever up to four times daily. Offer warm water and home remedies like ginger honey. Warm fluids like dal or soup are also helpful. A doctor will decide if antibiotics are needed, and staying in contact with them for additional medication advice is recommended.
