Q.

My daughter is 6 weeks old... She makes different noises while sleeping in the night... Is it normal... It's more of snoring & whistling noise. She is not having running nose.

A. noisy breathing isn't a sign of anything serious and probably won't bother your baby. She should stop the grunts, whistles and snorts by the time she reaches her first year. If you're still concerned about your baby’s breathing, do get checked with your paedritician once.

A. hi dear Give plenty of liquids, including breast milk or formula (if your baby doesn't take breast milk). A small amount of water may be offered to your baby if they're over 6 months old. Suction out nasal mucus using saline drops and a suction bulb. Moisturize the air with a humidifier.
