Q.

My daughter is 6.5 months old, I have measured her temperature from underarms and it came 99.1 degree. Will it be considered as fever or normal?

A. it will be on border line baby on touch can have warm sole forehead and is a normal thing . Temperature above 99 farenheit at armpit level is considered as fever and needs medicines .  Can give calpol / Sumol / T 98 for fever and can be repeated every 6 hours .

A. Hi dear mom If taken in under arms then add one degree to it. If in underarm it is 99.1 then the body temperature is 100.1 F which is fever. Give paracetamol to ur baby to bring down the temperature. Take care
