Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. p if you are concerned about the weight and growth of the child for good Growth of the child it is important that the child should get proper nutritional requirement which is very important for the growing child specially iron and vitamin D is required for better growth and cognition . also there is role of other micronutrients.
one should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types of nutrients essential for growth.
any kind of infection specially any chronic infection should be ruled out and treated which may hamper the growth otherwise.
after 2 years of age you can give some powder like kids Pro/ prohance junior mix in milk twice a day for one or two months.
Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Give her whole cow's milk and milk products like ghee in small amounts, curd, butter, cheese and home made paneer. Give fruit milkshakes and fruit smoothies and add dry fruits powder to them. Give one boiled egg per day. Give lentils like urad Dal and moong dal. Give bananas, avocados, pears, apples, mangoes etc. Give plain nuts to eat like walnuts, cashew nuts, almonds, pistachios, raisins and peanuts. Give cheesy potatoes and sweet potatoes.
