Q.

my daughter is 5 year old, being vegetarian, do I need to add supplement lime pediasure to fulfill protein requirement or how can I fulfill her protein requirement for proper growth?

A. dear mum, there is no need to give any protein supplements even if you follow a vegetarian diet. milk and milk products like curd, paneer, cheese are good source of protein. soya, sprouts, beans Also give variety of Dal's, pulses and legumes. nuts and oilseeds are also good source of protein.

A. hi parent there is a misconception that vegetarian diet misses the protein content all pulses , grains , millets and probiotics are full of protein use simply purified water having tds higher than 350 for drinking take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered in the morning
