Q.
my daughter is 5 month and 11 days old. Last month she had intestine infection coz of cow milk after that we started giving her FM now shebis having grey poop but tiday only.What it means ? Please tell me I dont want that my baby suffer again.

Author of questionMom of a 3 yr 3 m old girl2 years agoA. yes sir there was micro bleeding but after medication she is ok butvtoday even just now she poops grey what is means...I already stop cow milk a month ago she is on FM earlier I was giving Land S free now m GIving lactogen.

Cow's milk should be given to the baby only after completion of 1 year of age because the protein and fat in cow's milk is hard to digest before that and many a times there could be cow's milk protein allergy in babies and lactose intolerance which could be severe sometimes.
Also early introduction of cows milk can lead to iron deficiency anemia as cow's milk lacks iron and vit c . Also there could be micro bleeding in intestine because of the heafrvy protein of cow's milk .To start with cow's milk should be given than gradually you can shift to buffalo milk or a packet milk which is a mixture of two .
