my daughter is 5.6 years old. since 1.6 years she is having dry cough, it comes every 15 days once. doctor suggested to give montac LC kid talet every night for 14 days astakind syrup 3 times daily for 5 ml 5 days now I am so much worried about her health any suggestions please

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. you can continue the medicine and if it is not improving you can go for nebulization because from your history that years that it is more of allergic cough and cold. after 3 days of medicines going on you can again take a follow with your doctor

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr 2 m old boy2 years agoA. Hello !! As baby having frequent cough since 4 years need treatment and also check out the root cause for frequent cough .
Generally in monsoon season,winter or any water change,place change cough occurs..
But for very often less than a month need investigation.
Check with paediatrician observe her saturation levels,x ray if necessary to find out the cause.
