my daughter is 4 years old next month, has had a cough since past 2-3 months now with very little phlegm . Cough is especially more in the morning as soon as she wakes up. what can I give her and what could be the reason?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. ir is the viral. Running nose and cold cough may be a sign of any viral infection . May be due to seasonal changes . Just steam as a home remedy along with montair lc and ascoril for cough and cold may be used .

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. it appears to be allergic cough/cold. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /ncight and morning. requires examination and start anti allergic medicines. meet dr and prevent such temperature variations. there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at leastc one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization.

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi first , I advise to maintain good hydration throughout the day,it is very important. second , prepare small ball from jeggary+ turmeric powder and dry ginger powder ,give it to your child to keep in mouth twice in a day. you can apply Babyhug rapid relief rub on chest and back of your child which can give instant relief in this.
