Q.

my daughter is 4 years old and she doesn't sleep peacefully every night. she used to wake up and be cranky for no reason. we don't understand why she is not able to sleep peacefully at this younger age also. she keeps rolling here and there. Is there any anxiety issue ? how we can overcome and make her sleep her whole night without sleep disturbances.

A. sleeping pattern in small children changes from time to time but will improve with increasing age of the child you have to just see for any environmental factor which is affecting the sleep like temperature variations as well as the child might be having some digestion problem or breathing difficulty due to nasal blockage has to be looked into. if the growth of the child is proper do not worry much about the sleeping pattern of the child as it always improve with time you can increase the physical activitgy during the daytime as well as avoid more sleeping time during the day time and this will help in improving the night time sleeping time .

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Good sleep is a must at this age for overall brain development. Please masaage baby feet with BabyHug coconut oil for sound sleep before the baby goes to sleep. Also make sure that the room is silent and dimly lit while the baby is sleeping. Try not to make the baby sleep during day time. Make sure that the baby is getting a nutritional balanced diet. Avoid any maida and oily and outside food items and do not give screen time to baby 3 hours before sleeeping. Thanks and take care
