Q.

My daughter is 4.5 months old. Earlier her scalp was clean but now I can see a blackish- brownish kind of patchy thing over there. Can you tell what it can be?

A. your child is having cradle cap or seborrheic dermatitis (baby dandruff) you have to daily apply baby shampoo (spoo is good brand) on the scalp of the child during the bathing. do not apply any type of oil on the scalp during the daytime but only apply oil at the night time. within one week the cradle cap will disappear. x cradle cap is baby dandruff and is a type of fungal infection .

A. That’s basically cradle cab maybe the hair was quite thick previously for you to see but this is cradle cab nothing else with regular oiling shampoo and brushing his scalp is going to go away further once you get this scalp of your child totally shaved off it is going to go away it’s a very common thing to be seen with kids
