Q.

My daughter is 3yrs old & patient of Seizure Disorder. Two seizure episodes occurred in 2019. Thereafter, Syp Levetiracetam & Phenobarbitone start. Phenobarbitone slowly slowly tampered & Levetiracetam still continue. The main problem is she still delay in speach. Unable to speak a complete sentence. Now we did brain EEG but abnormal EEG observed. One doctor (Pediatric Neurologist) says to continue Levetiracetam for one year & another doctor says to tamper Levetiracetam slowly slowly as sometimes medicine affect in delay of speech. Kindly advice best course of actions for us....

A. it is advisable to follow any one of the paediatric neurologist and for speech you can go for speech therapy as well as other therapies which will be told by the milestones assessment person
