my daughter is 3 months old now. When I used cloth diaper for her it caused some sort skin irritations like skin dryness in the buttocks area, redness etc. But she is comfortable with disposible diapers. What is the reason behind it??

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. you change frequently ok. a lot of brands will be trying to impress you but you try to see your need and cost. thats better always. you can show the baby to a pediatric doctor who will check and find the right diagnosis and treat well

Maybe You are not changing the Cloth diaper properly maybe your child was into the wet area for a long time which is why the rashes were there but if your child is comfortable with disposable diapers you use them and keep changing them every 4 to 5 hours
