Q.

my daughter is 3.5yrs old. she is not chewing and eating her food. she likes soft and little smash food. if i give little hard food she is not eating else she will vomit .

A. dear there can be problem with eating behaviours if baby not introduced to unblended foods from 11 mth onwards. now you avoid grinded foods, instead start with soft foods, like small pieces of chapati dip in Dal rather than mashed even if child is eating less amount off unblended food for few days it is alright. child will eat eventually when hungry let child self feed give finger foods, let child mess a little for creating interest in unblended food keep trying and also try to explain that now child has teeth to chew and is a big boy/girl make child sit with the family to eat to understand how older people have their food

A. thank you for your response. she eats chappathi soaked in milk . she is not eating even a little spice also.
