my daughter is 2years and 2 months old...she has some cold and cough and is on maxtra, levocet and protussa syrup ...she pooped dark green stool today morning... is this a matter of concern? is it normal to poop dark green stools sometimes? please suggest.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. during cough n cold stool color green indicated bacterial infection.. continue with medication as advice, give her plenty of fluids, give steam inhalation 3 to 4 times a day, u may also start nebulization.

It Maybe because that your child is suffering with cold and cough that I am green colour motion is normal and also if the child is having a lot of medicine should you do that also a child can pass theme colour motion so don’t worry about it this would be completely normal
