my daughter is 27 days old...she is on formula...having gas issues..is io okay to give colimex 4 drops twice a day on daily basis

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver.
its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after each feed is very important.
Enzyme preparatiogns like aglozyme or vitazyme can bde beneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.

Vaishali TanwarMom of a 8 yr 3 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi, Any medicine should be given after proper examination and consultation by pediatrician. Self medications should be avoided. For the dosage age and weight are important. So it is advised to first consult a pediatrician and then give a medicine.
