My daughter is 23 days old. Relatives are suggesting me to clean her mouth whereas my Paediatrician suggested to clean after an year. When should I clean her mouth?

A. it is important to start cleaning the oral cavity of the child after one month of age it is important to maintain hygiene of the oral cavity and the tongue. with the help of your clean fingers or with the help of clean cotton cloth you can clean the oral cavity regularly at least one or two times per day. during cleaning it is always important to examine the oral cavity for any ulcer or rash or some types of rash or pain for the child
