my daughter is 22 months and i was wondering if i need to start deworming her, however i have not noticed any worm symptoms neither have I encountered any worms in her poop so i am confused if this is a mandatory procedure for a toddler. please advise.

A. Deworming medicine needs to be given routinely to every child after one year of age and the dose is 200 mg of albendazole once at night time and then repyteat the same dose after 14 days once this cycle should be repeated every six months at least till 5 year of age but it is advisable to gigve this medicine only after taking guidance by your doctor
