as kids grow they gain their self identity and have their own likes and dislikes.
so please don't take stress for this.
just keep offering different dishes with different taste and different texture.
make food presentation attractive
for example
offer fruits in different shapes like star heart smiles etc using shape cutter.
it will help to encourage your child to take interest in food.
offer rice in different forms like kheer , khichu, dhokla, idli, dosa etc
try to make your child sit to take meal with whole family because children learn more from imitating their parents.
Sneha PuruswaniMom of 2 children4 years agoA. If the baby is not eating plain rice then you can give it in different ways like you can give idly dosa pulao biryani curd rice khichdi etc.
Were you giving rice plain everyday if so the baby must have got bored or started disliking it So it's always better to give variety to the baby.
Once the baby completes a year you should start giving all the family foods to the baby all the seasonal fruits vegetables dairy products etc to the baby.
Three meals in between snacks supplementing full cream milk to the baby
