my daughter is 2 years old she has a cough for last 15 days I am giving a medicine name maxtra syrup the cough is not going to be stop is there any other medicine which can I give her to stop the cough as earlier as possible

A. recurring and non resolving cough and cold is commonly due to allergy and less likely due to infection. can be due to either allergy or infection or both. along with cough and cold medicine nxebulization will be required and your doctor will guide you regarding this. take a follow up with your doctor if the cough and cold is not improving with 3 days of medication . you can give home remedies like to see honey ginger and turmeric with milk.

A. You can give ginger juice and honey mixture to your child three times in the day and along with that also I would recommend you that you should nebulise your child three times in the day which is what is going to be beneficial situation of your child
