What we did is her father and me both sat at a distance and make her move towards us by throwing a ball at each other or just by actively calling her name and making her move between us. This helped her to overcome her fear of falling on hard surface because she used to run on sofa's and bed.
Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support.
After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independenfetly and sometimes it may take even longer but in no cagse any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.
