Q.
my daughter is 16months old. recovered from covid. after 22days she is getting temperature at tummy specially night times, my doctor gave azithromycin antibiotic for 5days. but still night time temp is showing 99 and 99.4 in tummy. but temperature is normal on forehead. what to do now?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. yes this can be fever so baby on touch can have warm sole forehead and is a normal thing . Temperature above 99 farenheit at armpit level is considered as fever and needs medicines .
Can give calpol / Sumol / T 98 for fever and can be repeated every 6 hours .
if fever does not subside with paracetamol and persists for more than 2 days then you need to consult a doctor for examination to know cause of fever .
