Q.
My daughter is 11 months old. For last 2 days she is having runny nose and dry cough. Can you suggest any medicine for this condition. I am trying to visit doctor in this pandemic situation.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatricc 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associatedf symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

please give gentle massage on chest and limbs with Babyhug rapid relief rub
please give indirect steam twice a day with steamer
