my daughter is 11 months old because of climate change she is having cough with mucus, doctor prescription recommended was Kufril syrup,but pharmacy is rejecting kufril concluding it's government restricted. as a mother now i am confused, can i give kufril syrup for cough ?

A. Hello! The medication that is described is basically an expectorant. It can trigger nausea and severe drowsiness in the child. So once again better check with your doctor if it is required to be given or any other alternative medication is there.
