Q.

My daughter is 11 month old and having fever from last two days. Her temperature raises to 102.5 and when given medicine (calpol) comes down to normal body temperature and start to raise again after sometime. I had visited pediatrician and he said it may be viral fever. Do I need to visit pediatrician again or continue with medicine?

A. If your doctor has confirmed it is viral then it can last for 5 to 7 days and sometimes 10 days also but that time the fever temperature is slightly going to reduce over the period and even after 10 days of the fever doesn’t subside completely then you should visit your doctor again
