A. Your 10-month-old daughter's symptoms, including vomiting after formula feeding, a tight tummy, and sleeping in a frog-like position, could be due to several possible reasons: Gas or Indigestion: If your baby is swallowing air while feeding, it can cause gas buildup, which might lead to discomfort, a tight tummy, and vomiting. Formula Sensitivity: Some babies may have trouble digesting certain types of formula, especially if they have a mild intolerance to the ingredients, which can cause vomiting, discomfort, and a bloated tummy. Reflux: Gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) could also be a possibility, where the contents of the stomach flow back into the esophagus, leading to vomiting, discomfort, and unusual sleeping positions to try to alleviate pain. Tummy Troubles: Sometimes, babies may experience stomach cramps or digestive issues, which can make them uncomfortable and cause a tight stomach. It is important to keep an eye on her symptoms. You should consult your pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues and get advice on the best course of action. They may recommend changing the formula, feeding smaller amounts more frequently, or checking for any other concerns such as a potential infection or reflux.
