my daughter is 1 year old can we give cypon syrup as one of my freind said it would help in increasing the weight plz suggest me

ExpertAlapati HariPaediatrician7 years agoA. No cypon syrup is an appetite stimulant they are not recommended for any age group. Appetite fluctuations are normal in this age group. Encourage self feeding and family feed time. Do not restrict food allow them to eat food of their choice.

Rather then giving The syrup get her evaluated for anemia or vitamin deficiency that can be causing loss of appetite in baby Give a balanced diet containing all food groups give all family foods, seasonal fruits and vegetables
