my daughter is 1 year 8 months old she is having runny nose from yesterday which medicine to give her is ascoril flu syrup shud be given only runny nose issue kindly advice

Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .y As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cokld can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

Yes it can be given for running nose to the child completely safe to go ahead with twice a day you can give but yet if you feel the issue is increasing kindly consult your doctor as well they would be able to help you with any other medication if requiredWrite Your Answer Here
