Q.

My daughter is 1 year 7 months old and she weighs 11.6 kgs.Could please recommend a good diet plan which could help her gain more weight.

A. Give her whole cow's milk and milk products like ghee in small amounts, butter, cheese, curd and home made paneer. Give bananas, avocados, pears, pineapple, papaya and mangoes. Give fruit milkshakes and fruit smoothies and add dry fruits powder to them. Give almond milk and almond butter. Give plain nuts like almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts, peanuts and raisins. Give cheesy mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes. Give lentils like moong Dal and urad Dal. Give chickpeas and green peas. Give all home cooked meals.
