Q.
my daughter is 1 year 10 months old. she is having running nose and slight cough. she does not have fever. I want to know if there is any medicine to stop running nose.

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there pavgracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Vritika AroraMom of a 5 yr 2 m old child4 years agoA. Hi dear mom Give t minic syrup to ur baby for cold and running nose. Apply baby vicks vaporub on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough and cold. It will be fine. Take care
