Q.

My daughter is 1 week old . She is currently on breastfeed and formula milk as my baby a not able to suck continuously. She take almost 1 and 1/2 hr to lactate .After lactation she is still hungry then we feed her formula milk . Is is ok feed both formula milk and breastfeed.

A. no problem in feeding the baby with formula milk if the breast milk of the mother is insufficient but most of the times disturb milk may be sufficient if the baby is passing urine 8 to 10 times per day

A. hi mother's milk is best food for a child. there is no need of formula or external milk. try to offer small and frequent feeds. try different feeding positions. burp your baby after each feeding.
