my daughter is 1&1/2 years old. she is suffering from dry cough...due to excess cough she did vomiting in the mid night. please help and prescribe any cough syrup for her.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where meost of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhcalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

You can take cough syrup.prescribe by your pediatrician because he or she check whether it is dry cough or wet cough. meanwhile hive your baby indirect steam put a steamer in corner of room so that j direct steam inhale bg your baby.also massage with leukwarm.mustard oil.
