my daughter having cough continuosly she starts coughing giving her a medicine which proscribed by her doctor bt still coughing

Sometimes coughing can take a little longer time to subside completely sometimes when the congestion is much it can take a little longer time to make things better so you can just continue with the medicine if the child is not relieved properly within five days then in that case you should consult your doctor again
