Q.

my daughter has put on considerable weight during the pandemic, what food to avoid or introduce to increase metabolism without losing on nutrition

A. Hello! Make sure your daughter is active throughout the day. Give her small meals instead of large and heavy meals. Add fibres in the form of salad, sabji, fruits in her meals. Include protein rich foods like dals, sprouts, eggs and different grains like ragi, jowar, bajra in her meals.

A. hi mam,as weight gain is much ,you should offer food like sprouts, ragi, oats etc which will definitely help. avoid giving processed,junk food items. increase your child fluid intake like Coconut water,soup, buttermilk ,fresh fruits etc
