Q.

My daughter has had a cough for 9 days, and her temperature has remained at 99. For the last three days, she has been taking an anti-allergy medicine, a Citrazin syrup. The doctor prescribed a syrup called Ascoril LS. I checked online and found that there is also an Ascoril LS Junior version. I am worried that we might be giving her the adult syrup by mistake.

A. Both the medications have same components only the quantity is different. Hence, if you’re giving Ascoril LS, or Ascoril ls junior the dosage will be different. You can consult your paediatrician for those modification.
