Q.
my daughter has a prolonged stomach ache, earlier had loose motions too but that has gone away now. also got her routine stool test done, everything else was normal except for the stool being acidic/ alkaline

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenterritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motionss are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

An acidic stool can indicate a digestive problem such as lactose intolerance, an infection such as rotavirus, or overgrowth of acid-producing bacteria along with the proper medication give ur child citruc fruits like tomatoes strawberries pineapple grapes raisins
