A. If your daughter's cough has persisted for 1.5 months despite antibiotics, it could be due to allergies, post-viral irritation, or an underlying condition like asthma or reflux. Since the antibiotics haven't helped much, it's best to consult the doctor again for further evaluation. For home remedies, you can try giving her warm water with honey (if she is above 1 year old), steam inhalation, turmeric milk, and a few drops of ginger juice mixed with honey. Keep her hydrated with warm soups and herbal teas. Also, ensure her room is dust-free and well-ventilated, and use a humidifier if the air is dry. If the cough worsens or is accompanied by breathing difficulty or fever, seek medical attention immediately.
